Holiday packing

I'm going away for a week to a place in the sun.

How many pairs of knickers, how many bras, bikinis, how much sun tan lotion, shampoo etc etc do I really need?

I have started bringing things downstairs for the suitcase. You would think I was leaving home not just having a week away !

Any tips for a 'capsule but enough' wardrobe?

Any 'seasoned' holidayers out there with good advice?

I do this every year and I only wear half the amount I take and every time I go away i do it all over again sad

As for packing general stuff, I now have a spread sheet varied for what sort of holday I am on. I can print off the relevant sheet and and tick off the essentials as I put them in my luggage.

Superdrug sell small plastic 100ml bottles for putting shampoo shower gel etc in. They are quite sturdy and save a lot of space. I have had mine for years.

These days I don't tend to go on holidays where I need to be terribly smart.
