On another note

Thank You Bags - I quite like the boots and having had a quick look at the link they are now coming up as an advert on my facebook page. This has replaced Jingle's Turquoise M&S Frock, which I liked too but have 'gone off' after seeing it thrice daily for the past two weeks.

Oh dear Jenty I remember wearing those boots too, I thought they were fantastic. Brings back memories!

And I'll probably wear socks just to be totally OMG!

I spend a good deal of the summer in wellies and hiking boots because of the climate and the terrain where I live, so holey boots would be like sandals , and besides, as one or two people (people who've seen what I'm like ) have said, they'll suit me. Not sure about yellow... I think I'll go for the tan.

That's harsh. They're quite cute. I could easily see thatbags wearing them. They would suit her.

Well, I looked at the boots from the link and I've now had an email from the company asking if I'd like to order!!! Not really, just my opinion, but I think they are awful, and they probably don't do my size anyway!

I really want these boots. The thought of getting spotty feet in the sun has put me off a bit, tho!

Well done to whoever caught on to the fact people really do seem to wear boots most of the year, and came up with a summer one as a fashion item. I don't like the claustrophobic feel of boots especially in indoor venues, so only wear mine in snow

I only have one word to describe the boots Hideous but if you like them buy them.

was thinking why on earth would anyone wear boots in the summer! then on reading Shinyredcars post I remembered I used to wear white cowboy boots with tassles in the summer in the early 60s ?

Surely there must be someone else on here old enough to have had a pair of white lace knee-length boots to wear with your hot-pants?! Why start being practical now?

I think the blue ones are lovely but, as you say, not very practical!

We get so little summer why put your feet in hot boots?
My mind used to boggle about those souls clumping about in summer in UGG boots. They would certainly be too warm and seemed to have no support about the ankle.
You can tell I am not shoe mad can't you.

Sorry but I think they are hideous. And why would you wear boots in susummer But each to their own .If you like them go for it

Just want to add that they are totally impractical but I couldn't resist and I am going to wear them with denim summer frock. Just need to find a Country and Western festival!

I bought a pair of beige suede summer boots from Primark. I think you should buy yours too
