A friend applied for two grants for his two daughters at university. One of them was Sheila Ann M. the other Sandra M. He was sent a reply to say that his three daughters had been awarded the grants.
He phoned to ask what was going on, he only had two daughters.
No, said the young man, you have three - Sheila, Ann and Sandra. It says so here.
"Well," said father, "if that is so then one of them must have been an immaculate conception, because I only know of two - one is called Sheila Ann and the other Sandra, but you have the paperwork, you must know better than I do"
