Nominations for what makes a gentlemab

It's alright. I found it. I put a link to the story a few posts back.

Sorry, if there's a wrong end of a stick I'll find it.
Haven't a clue of how to post a link. Just Google "Justin Webb on TVs".

Sorry Alima. I meant to the Justin Webb thing.

I think he might actually be a bit of a plonker

Jalima kindly posted one half a dozen posts up.

Have you got a link Alima?

I didn't know who Gary Wilmot was either.

That is a very sweet dog. I think he was right to spend the 5k. He shouldn't have left his sock lying around.

Jalima, I didn't mean to shock you. Thanks for the link, I recognise him now.
Re Justin Webb. Isn't he the chap recently trumpeting the need for a huge TV? I am sorry but I really do not think a gentleman would ever be so crass as to want a huge anything.

but for Justin Webb fans, here he is: (sorry, it is the DM for those of a nervous disposition)

Yes, I think Nick Robinson
Also Justin Webb. I used to enjoy seeing him on the BBC News, but now he's on the radio

*Jalima, I don't know who Gary Wilmot is

Cherrytree59yes, reckon Sir Trevor McDonald is a gentleman.
wot, think you may be on the wrong thread! Is there one for "Cor" factor?
What about Nick Robinson?

I'm still pondering...
I think actors are difficult as they show different persona depending what there in.
What about Sir Trevor McDonald??

Gary Wilmot - at least as far as I can tell about someone famous.
He was delightful and thoughtful when we went to the stage door to meet him after a performance, kind to the DC and sent a nice message for DM who was unable to go; DH has met him at a 'do' and approved [high praise]

Monty Don, yes, not Bill Bailey, although I agree, he is probably a thoroughly nice bloke .

Michael Portillo - yes, charming, but is that just the tv persona?

I've always fancied Michael portillo!!! (Not his pink shirt, though)

Ys, they are racing to your door now Jingl in a Paws Patrol van.

Oh 'eck! I'll have all the dog lovers down on me now.

Mind you, she bit my friend too. And she's still got the mark on her hand to prove it. Sixty years later.

I'm not sure she was a very nice dog.

Ww I didn't do anything. She just didn't like me. She was supposed to have been my dog, but my Mum did the feeding and everything. I think she saw me as a rival.

I just have a friend who met him and he was lovely( when he need not have been, and said friend was a bit pushy.)

Agree with Monty, but think Bill Bailey is more of a bloke

I would agree with nominating Monty Don, and I nominate Bill Bailey.

what did you do to it to warrant a nip?
