I've been called to do Jury duty twice, and both times I loved it!
It was time away from work (but on full pay) and I sat in on some interesting cases.
Just once, I recognised the defendant, but before I got the chance to notify anyone, he saw me and started jumping up and down shouting that he didn't want "that nasty old bat" on the jury. I didn't object to anything but the "old" comment, as I was in my mid thirties at the time! I had encountered the young man through my work, and had actually physically ejected him from our building once when he took a kick at a pregnant colleague, so he probably thought I'd have been against him from the start, and do you know what? I would!
Good Morning Sunday 2nd August 2026
What was directly across the road from the school you went to?

I don't think 60 wpm typing and 40 wpm shorthand quite cut it.
