Who still wants an Easter Egg?

I love chocolate eggs too, a thorntons egg for me yum.

Not this year - avoiding naughty stuff after seeing a reflection of myself in a swimsuit..... I've just looked at the alternative eggs and did a double take on the bunny and carrot one - for a second I thought it was something else, but I am still jet lagged
I used to buy eggs for the children and DH but I don't remember him ever buying one for me - so I bought my own. My Dad used to give us tights for some extraordinary reason . I was chatting to a lady in Asda yesterday, as you do, and she said her Dad did the same

When we were about 8 years old, Mum said we could buy bars of choc instead of an Easter Egg,so we had a great time spending the same money on lots of different chocs, Mars Bars, Tiffin , Five Boys, etc. But on Easter Sunday..... It just wasn't the same as an Egg.We were and never did it again.

I detest cadburys creme eggs. Ther are obscenly sweet. Very little chocolate and just full of a very thick sugar syrup, like a very wet icing really.
I did put away a large bar of Lindt dark hazlenut chocolate.
The cost of an empty eggshell of chocolate compared with the amount in a
bar is ridiculous.
The manufacturers of easter eggs must be laughing at us all the way to the bank.
They are selling small amounts of chocolate and lots of cardboard.

An 850grm bar of Cadburys dairy milk costs £10.
A 515 grm Cadbury dairy milk easter egg cost £15.50.

I've made it very plain to DH that I would like an Easter Egg. I've already bought him one, as we both love chocolate. I've been informed that the desired item has been purchased.

I would never have thought of putting chocolate into the fridge/freezer. Must give it a go!

Maybe a Cadbury cream egg but nothing bigger although I love chocolate and could eat one of those giant size bars if I let myself .

get one every year from my granddaughters - used to get one from my now ex-husband when we were together.

however, before granddaughters came along and after I left my ex I bought one for myself ............... love easter eggs.

Cadburys creme eggs for me! Start buying the odd one when they appear in the shops and then 5 in a box ( which used to be 6). Price goes up the nearer it gets to Easter.

I've bought a chocolate dinosaur for our 2 year old grandson as he's really into them at the momemt. As for us, husband is treating me to an Easter break at one of our favourite hotels, chosen by him, I suspect, as they have an endless supply of chocolate eggs on Easter Sunday, which suits him fine as he's something of a chocaholic!

H and I have always exchanged eggs, nothing fancy though. He's a chocaholic but Easter is one of the rare occasions I eat chocolate.

We all buy Easter chocolates for each other, not necessarily eggs and nothing excessive. I am going today to buy them for everybody. We are spending Easter morning with DD and will exchange chocolate with her. Later on in the day we will do the same with DH and family and it will include chocs fro all the adults in the family.

I am just working my way through large chocolate buttons ..in a large bag,they are lovely straight from freezer ,love a cadbury egg straight from freezer with chocolate buttons..just a small one .

Whilst shopping today I stopped at the Easter Egg section and pointed to the one I would just love.. A Baileys Easter Egg..

I prefer peanut M&Ms....I keep them in my mouth until the coating melts...then chew the nuts!....cheaper than Easter eggs and available all year round?

Hot cross buns, yum, gin, yum, but not together! I like the bunny and carrots though.
The large choc bunny that Sainsbury sell for about £5 is really nice chocolate, I buy them for the DGC , wrapped in cellophane so you can tie a big bow around them.

2 years ago DH bought me a monstrosity of an egg ... it was huge and wrapped in cellophane as no box was big enough. I have a photo of it alongside our micro (at the time) granddaughter at 4 months old and it was bigger!!!
The chocolate wasn't even that nice.

Anyway we were in Asda a couple of days ago and I told him we would buy each other a £1 egg and that would be it!
Flowers would also be very nice.

Are they chocolate? Then yes please.
