Who are our youngest or oldest members?

I'm 67, married at 21, children at 22, 24, 26, 32 and 38. 1st grandchild at 58. I would like to know how the hell that all happened when I wasn't looking!

I'm also 67. Married at 29, had first son at 33 and second son at 36. In those days that was considered a ripe old age for giving birth, in fact on my hospital notes I was described as an "elderly primagravida" !!!! I became a grandma at 65 and again at 66, and thankfully both my DH and I have no health problems so we're able to enjoy the grandchildren to the full. Long may it continue!

63 last December had children 25,27,29. Middle child made me a granny at 46

59, first child at 25 and first grandchild at 56

In 1991 when I had the last child I was one of the youngest at 35

I am amazed to find that at aged eighty two and a half years and computer literate I seem to be a rarety. I have 2children and 4 stepchildren and 12 assorted grandchildren. Old age and ill health has finally caught up with us but facebook enables us to keep in touch with family happenings on a daily basis. I bought my first computer in 1984 and never imagined that 30 years later technology would be such a part of our lives.

62 and a quarter to be precise. First grandchild at 56.

Storynanny my son was born in 1982 too, and I can't believe you were considered "elderly" at 25!!! It just shows how times have moved on.

I'm 61, married at 22, children at 25, 27, 29, and became a Nana at 57. Didn't a lot of us marry young, or what seems to be young to me nowadays?

84 - married at 20 first child at 24, 1st grandchild at 58. Computer literate to some extent, slower as the days go by, but still able to enjoy the things I am able to do. Not so much for the other half.

I was considered "elderly" at 33 with my first in 1987 and bloody ancient with second at 37

Why?

I didn't give my "resume* when I posted my age. I also married young, 21 and three weeks. First child at 28 second at 32 and first GC at 61, 6th and last at 73.

Married at 21, first child at nearly 23, first GC (now 10 weeks old) at 52. My mum was 54 when she became a nanny.

Why doesn't Gransnet organise a calender/reminder whereby we can wish each other "Happy Birthday1" Especially for us saddos who don't get many cards.

I'm 60 next month, first and so far only grandchild when I was 49.

Oh yes, forgot to say. I'm 61 married at 21 first child at 24, second at 26 and third at 29. First grandchild when I was 57 and then three more at 58, 59 and 60.

75, mother at 23 and again at 36, grandmother at 53 and another 6 times after that!
