..to tinge every celebratory day with sadness? Can't we just be allowed to be happy?

I'm all for sympathy for individuals when sad things happen in posters' lives, but why introduce misery to everything? hmm

grannylyn65 Sun 06-Mar-16 19:00:35

Well, at least this thread has made me ?!

Ana Sun 06-Mar-16 19:01:08

I'd thought I was agreeing with you, jingl...confused

But never mind, feelings are bound to run high when subjects like this are brought up. I just don't understand why some people join GN then want to change it.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:01:16

Why "aunty jings"? confused

FarNorth Sun 06-Mar-16 19:03:46

'We' may not need a bereavement forum. Some others, seemingly, do.

I hadn't noticed misery being introduced to everything, and no-one being allowed to be happy.

This thread has been quite entertaining, tho, in a confusing sort of way.

Lovely thoughtful post, Grannyqueenie!

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:08:49

Where did I leave that brown-nose emoti?

thatbags Sun 06-Mar-16 19:09:59

Half-a-brainBags is still confused. If OP was nothing to do with the Bereavement Forum, to what "introduced misery" was it referring? Please.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:10:43

O FFS! I've already said! hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:11:58

it could be sixteen. Don't think I counted Grannyqueenie.

thatbags Sun 06-Mar-16 19:13:19

Have you? I missed it. Would you be so kind as to supply a link, or to repeat yourself for the dummies amonst us?

wot Sun 06-Mar-16 19:14:25

Keep your hair on, Jings!!

thatbags Sun 06-Mar-16 19:16:01

Oh! Did you mean the bit about being fed up to have misery introduce into EVERYTHING including Mother's Day?

Everything, huh?

OTT and silly with it. Not that that would matter if it were funny, but...

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:16:09

No. And no.

Read a few posts back FGS bags.

Ana Sun 06-Mar-16 19:16:47

Oh leave jingl alone!

thatbags Sun 06-Mar-16 19:17:37

Deliberately obtuse, as I said.

Since you don't only have half a brain.

Glad everything's sorted now smile

thatbags Sun 06-Mar-16 19:18:31

She's enjoying it, ana, or she'd bugger off the thread.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:19:15

Bored with it now. And the latest sugar rush is wearing off.

And I might be starting to sound like the plimsolls gran.

Bye.

thatbags Sun 06-Mar-16 19:19:23

So am I, btw. Glad to know jings is as wacky as ever, if irritating at times.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:20:53

And DD wants me to help plan a trip.

And seaweed on Countryfile has a strange allure. Compared to this. smile

Ana Sun 06-Mar-16 19:24:28

Cavalo Nero's probably better for you. According to some!

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 06-Mar-16 19:26:41

We had curly kale. Was lovely. And ready chopped up too.

Ana Sun 06-Mar-16 19:28:30

Yes. I reckon that Cavalo stuff is overrated...can't beat a bit of kale or cabbage.

wot Sun 06-Mar-16 19:30:06
