I went for a lovely walk amongst the snowdrops at Welford Park at the weekend, but putting a photo on here is beyond me

moomin the Kookaburra is a handsome bird. We're unlikely to see anything this exotic in Kintyre. A very good photograph.
Badenkate Your photograph is also superb. The snowdrops at Skipness are very like the dramatic swathe that you're sharing with us. I'm pleased that you've conquered the first upload on GN. It took me yonks to get the hang of it. Also, I'm rubbish at mathematics.
number Big Pig has been absent for a wee while. She's visiting a boar. We therefore may have weeny piglets to photograph in due course.

Time for me to wander off to feed the pussy cats. Rory and friend have been in the utility room for about an hour. Door to the garden left open. The moment I touch the door handle, Tortoiseshell will scoot a short distance. Just far enough away to watch her bowl being placed where she likes it. Then, in a woosh, she'll be chomping away to her heart's delight.
No care home visit tomorrow (sadly). I guess that I should make myself useful aboot the hoos.

First time I've tried to put a photo on here, so apologies if it doesn't work! We had a walk around Attingham gardens today (NT house and gardens near Shrewsbury). Lovely sunny day with bit of a cold wind. We went to see the snowdrops and I thought you might like to see the photo I took. They were lovely, just like a carpet in places.
Back from our trip to Auatralia to visit DD, this kookaburra came to visit one evening!
Tizliz Wild pigs! I wonder whether or not the dogs would wish to approach them. I suppose it would depend on the size of the pig. We still haven't had snow. It's beautifully bright but chilly with it.

NanaandGrampy For a wee while I had a small gallery inside our home in Cornwall. I am self-taught. In fact I didn't start to paint until I was into my fifties. Anyway, I now paint for the fun of it. I like to give paintings as gifts. One of the kind carers at the home has a mixed-breed dog. I'm painting a small portrait, just to show her that I admire the way she works with the elderly residents. If you take a look at my photos in the GN album, you may see more of my work. Below is my first ever painting of Primulas. I have kept this because it inspired me to persevere and try all sorts of subjects.

The care home has an outbreak of Norovius and is closed to visitors. My pal and I won't be making the trip into Campbeltown tomorrow. I shall miss time spent with the ladies. May need to do housework instead.
MacSporran is coping very well with the chesty cough. We feel that he's over the worst. I'm thankful on his behalf. I'm also relieved not to have picked up the vomiting bug. That would be a very nasty thing for him to recover from.
Sun is shining. I'm feeling brighter by the minute. Arty farty hat rammed on my head. It's back to the drawing board.

Lona Your tumble could have been very serious. I'm thinking...did she hit her head? Best if you check with your GP. A cracked rib needs to be rested so that it can heal. Please take things easy for a wee while.

Tizliz I'm so pleased that you are feeling brighter today. The sun is shining here in bonnie Kintyre. The wind is brisk and on the chilly side. We managed a walk and returned home with rosy cheeks.

Elegran I loathe the job that you are tackling at the moment. When painting, I prefer big expanses, such a walls. We've a number of "fiddly bits" to pay attention to when the weather improves. Excuses!
