wot WOW! I'm smitten with the iris folding. That really is clever. 
Much in need of a strong cup of tea and a large slice of cake.
It has taken me all morning to get my pc working properly. Don't know what happened. Lost Outlook and all emails, my photos but not OH's, luckily they are all backed up but takes ages to reload. Emails downloaded twice and I seem to have duplicates of duplicates. However I cannot find my bookmarks, the folder is empty, but my passwords are still there. Sometimes I hate computers, who said they would save us time. I am nearly back to where I was when I left work on Monday but my @ sign has moved to where the " sign is usually. I know this is the American layout but I have changed the settings to UK (and the date settings). 
To suit the cold outside now. A winter sunset March 2008 in Iceland. The fields are frozen over. A view towards Dryholay sea stacks.
I like minimalist lansdscapes.
Tizliz How interesting, I would have sworn that the monument was a ruined abbey. I've just had a quick google of it and it looks surprisingly different from different angles. I wonder if the local population were given somewhere to live as well.

soop Have you got the Vikings in Kintyre? We have just had the annual Viking Festival in York and the GSs are having an Anglo Saxon/Viking week in school. They had to wear Anglo Saxon clothing - which was cobbled together by Granny. I'm going to try to download a picture following the helpful instructions above.

re red wine 
The bottle mostly went on the tiled floor. We have a couple of layers of rugs under our chairs in the winter as the tiles are very cold and they are easy to wash. The biggest rug which won't fit in the washing machine, I shall worry about in the spring.
The glass of wine did more damage, going over a printout of what we hope the new house will look like and also some splash back on the sofa. I think I've got the worst out but there will probably be a shadow there. No good crying over spilt wine though. I've done daft things in the past.

I like the sheep, it looks so white and clean.
