What have I done to ' Imogen' to have her rain in buckets on my washing. Went to town this morning, had coffee, came home. Weather very windy, but dry. Cut down some twiggy bits in the front, and thought I'll put the washing out for a good blow. Well, she saw me coming and is now raining on my parade, while I sit here and ponder whether to pull on the wellies and rescue the washing, or just let it have another rinse on the line, and bring it in when she's finished with us here. DH out for lunch, so will put feet up, think of what to have for my lunch, and fume.

Another nice day here in Leicestershire- time to clean out the pots on the patio I think.

I seem to be very lucky where I live in south Cheshire. I am above any flood risk and North Wales tends to take a off lot of the rain before it gets to us. So far the gales have either been to the north of Manchester or down in the south.
