I ran what was probably one of the first 'record stalls' at a local charity fair.(Probably where a lot of my 'don't know where that came from' came) Knew nothing about records, but thought it would be a good thing to try to sell, and collected loads. I made a complete catalogue of them and sent this to a collector (Sothebys at Billingsburst advised me on this) and he wrote back to say that he was of course unable to make any true judgement but the Laurel and Hardy ones would be the most valuable amongst our selection, and suggested a price of £10 each (this was in the 1980's). We sold them to a Japanese couple who were happy to pay £15. each for them, wonder what they would be worth today? Incidentally, the way to tell if a record is really valuable is evidently to look for the 'etched' numbers which are just on the blank ring round the outside of the label, this denotes the number of cuttings? for that particular record. Hard to find.

Odd - weird and wonderful - almost unbelievable - or is it just me?
Has anyone else noticed their energy levels change as they've got older?
