Anyone playing brain games? I have been using Peak for while now and really enjoy it. Think my memory is improving, so long as I remember to play it most days!!

Hello, it is an app. You get it free but if you want the full thing you have to pay. It is good fun and they do keep adding games so you don t get bored but don't pay the first time they ask, they will keep reducing the price! Think I paid about £15 for a year in the end. It also compares you to others in your age group and you can cocentrate on improving your weak points.

For your iPad try the game Monument Valley, good for the brain and very addictive.I love it.

I've been playing Sudoku and Classic Words, which is a scrabble game. Both free from the Google app store. Every time I play, I try to better my previous score.

I play Words with Friends on Facebook with a couple of friends. I have about 30 games on the go at any one time. It only takes a few minutes night and morning but I enjoy it - not sure if it does me any good though.

I have just installed Peak. I was fine with the definitions of words but don't understand the equations.

What does an asterisk mean in an equation? I have never seen it before.

The mention of Peak and its ability to compare progress with others in the same age group is particularly intriguing, as it adds a competitive element that can motivate users to improve their cognitive skills, and it's interesting to see how Cambia and her DH get competitive with it, I've also been exploring other brain games and recently stumbled upon a fascinating study that suggests engaging in mentally stimulating activities can have a positive impact on overall mental health, which is why I think it's great that people are sharing their experiences with different apps and games, such as Monument Valley, Sudoku, and Classic Words, and for those looking for a more relaxed approach to mental wellness, I'd recommend checking out Home Decor and Gardening for some inspiration on how to create a calming and stimulating environment that can help improve focus and productivity, which is essential for making the most out of brain games and other mentally stimulating activities.
