So, any firm offers for Only Connect?!
Elrel think you may need to do a WANTED. 'ONLY CONNECTERS' thread as closing date is soon
Shouldn't there be some sort of entrance exam?
Only last year both myself and Wendy had the great honour of appearing on ITV's Good Morning Britain to tell the nation about our chosen lifestyle. It did take quite a long time before live transmission but was worth every glorious moment and I hope came across to encourage many others to think seriously . . . Why Not!!
Still available exactly as transmitted: www.itv.com/thismorning/hot-topics/british-naturism-nudefest
Cherrytree - I think you're right.
Ana ? Probably!
I would like to put myself forward for the Only Connect audience
I am not taking advantage of the link just in case there are any photos ...... Too much at my time of life

Yes, I am quite happy to be seen clapping other people enthusiastically.
I'll leave the fame to other members of my family
I`ve never seen Only Connect, when is it on, and on which channel please?
It's on tomorrow, Monday, at 8.30pm on BBC2.
I wouldn't mind having a go at Only Connect. I quite like the missing vowels round and the connecting wall.
Shame about the Eggheads deadline!
I have two!
About 2006. I called into the Gloria Hunniford programme one afternoon as she was talking about giving up smoking. I had successfully given up smoking the year previously and felt I had something to share. I got a call-back from the programme and went on live radio. I was working from home at the time so that made for an unusual afternoon!
The second claim to fame is that in the mid-90s I use to write for a local news magazine here on the Isle of Skye and the editor arranged for an interview with Ian Anderson who was the singer with Jethro Tull (the guy who played the flute standing on one leg, if anybody remembers?!) She asked me to go and interview him!
Ian Anderson owned a fish farm at Strathaird here on Skye and lived in Strathaird |House. He was actually a very intelligent man who had a lot to say - mostly about fish farming! He didn't really want to talk much about his music and I think he enjoyed being asked to talk about something else. Our appointment was set for early evening and I remember standing at the kitchen sink at tea time peeling potatoes and realising that in a couple of hours I was off out to interview a famous singer - me, a middle-aged housewife!
Sometimes, you have to make your own fun!
Crossstitchgill - Teetime is on for Only Connect and I've asked Eggheads whether they'll accept a let entry. If so we will have to get the remaining team members and form sorted very quickly!!
I was interviewed for new channel 5 prog on tue bargain brit abroad, was interviewed on holiday Benidorm in may looking forward to seeing it not sure which week it be on tho . iwas in levis showboat restaurant having a meal for my birthday
This is hilarious! I was Countdown ages ago (last series that Richard Whiteley did) and missed out on a crucial conundrum
. I would be up for Eggheads (specialist subject science) as long as CJ wasn't on it. As for Only Connect:after last night's episode, I could hardly understand the questions, though am quite good on the missing vowels round! How would we organise a team as we are spread around the country? It would certainly be a challenge!
