Good morning from a blue skied Colchester. Dry, less windy and a few degrees cooler today. Still in double figures though.
I have just read that it's 21C in New York today and will be 4C by Monday!
Sainsburys is delivering my main Christmas Shop this morning and then I'm out to get the missing bits. The celebration starts here tomorrow.

It's a bright, clear start in Tynedale after all the overnight rain. I ought to get busy in the kitchen this morning, and will if I can find the energy. I want to make a cherry cake and some ginger shortbread. This evening we are going out to dinner with friends. I hope I can stay awake!

At last we have a dry and bright start to the day. I've almost forgotten what blue sky looks like, but there is quite a large patch of it over my little part of the world and the sun is shining .
Well in my usual last minute style I have a busy day ahead. Not too worried, though, I know it'll all get done.

Hi all,just come on briefly to wish you all the Christmas that you would like. Been so rushed for the last month or so I haven't been on at all. Don't even know how the Grundys managed to get their home back! When I am too busy to listen to R4 life must be very hectic.
