Good Morning Sunday

Good morning everyone.
Grey and windy in Tynedale after yesterday's rain! The trees opposite my house are now completely leafless. I slept too long, and now have a headache. DS is coming for his lunch, chicken and leek bake and a lemon pudding is what I have planned.

Morning from Warwickshire where we have a grey and windy day. Hoping it stays dry because I have plants to get in the ground. This will require me to get out of bed though and I am fighting this necessity at the moment.

I am feeling sad and unsettled because of Friday's attacks in Paris and thankful that my family and friends are safe from harm.

It's a miserable grey windy day in Devon, but it is dry.
Spent all day yesterday in my PJs cos I felt very unwell with a heavy cold and cough. Same this morning .

We have one flood warning and one flood alert here in parts of Preston. Severe flood warnings in other parts of NW England though.

Dry, bright and windy here in mid Essex. DD and DSIL live in Cumbria where severe flood warnings are in place so I will contact them later for a report. They live on a hill so should be all right.

My bit of the East Midlands is grey, wet and windy! Not much on today apart from enjoying the company of DD2 and family and cooking a chicken. And coping with DH's man flu. I really need to dredge up some patience from somewhere!

Good morning from a windy and dry Colchester. It is already 15 degrees so very mild for the time of year.
A lazy Sunday with a roast chicken dinner to look forward to.

Good morning from a drenched Boggy Brae (is that a tautology?). Still, we chose a colour for the bathroom walls yesterday and DH painted the hatch that opens into the roof so we had to leave it open all night. The bats stayed in the roof.

I just went outside to investigate a rattley sound (the meter cupboard door has blown loose) and can report that it's dry, mild, overcast and very windy outside and the Scots Pine is whipping around like no one's business. Hope you're all ok 'up north'.

I have good intentions of going to the gym for a row this morning, it's been a while so it could be hard going.
