I wish

After reading several threads here today I really wish we had a 'like' button. I've agreed with so many comments on quite serious discussions but to write a comment every time really isn't appropriate - I pop up all over the place as it is! A 'like' button would do the trick nicely!

mollie If it's any consolation, I have no idea which of your posts you are about.
In similar circumstances I console myself with the thought that even if anyone has noticed my faux pas, it will soon have been superseded by other posts and become yesterday's virtual chip wrapper

Another forum I belong to has a 'like' facility, but we don't have a dislike facility. Seems to work okay.

Yes, it'd be good to be able to 'like' posts but then would be need a dislike, or downward facing thumb?
If I post on my iPad rather than lap top, words change and I don't always notice so it looks like I can't spell at all

An edit button and more emotes. It would also be so much easier to use the emotes on my phone and not have to use specific GN ones. Kindle makes up it's own words too

Hudl is just the same. Every time I try to type have a lovely day, hudl wants me to say lively! It also has a swipe function. Here is an example: cm lb Th sub. That was three swipes. This is what happens if you are not quick enough to take your finger off the screen. I end up spending more time deleting superfluous letters than actual writing.

My mini iPad always tries to put 'I honk' when I type 'I think'!

I wish my iPad wouldn't make up daft words of its own, every time I try to write anything with -ing at the end, it produces GN, "like" is often "love"and "lovely " can be anything. Yeah U was what I got for "you" recently and I really haven't got enough eyes to check the keyboard/predictive suggestions/what actually comes up.
And don't get me started on the apostrophes!

My typos are getting terrible; another reason why I'd like an edit button. Even if I 'preview' it I don't notice until I've pressed the 'post' key. It really annoys me to see them .
