Unknown item in the bagging area when there ISN'T!

Enormous differences in sizing labels on women's clothes. (DH can buy things without trying on and they always fit, except in France.)

Hospital parking meters that ask for e.g. £1.45 and don't give change. No other meters seem to take 5p so I seldom have one with me and lose 5p. ( I save my 5p in a charity box.)

The extra charge for each theatre ticket however you pay --why don't they just increase the ticket price.
Cyclists on the pavement when cycle lanes are available --particularly in Cambridge!! They never even ring a bell to warn you they are approaching from behind and almost take you with them!!
Folks who have a loud coversation on public transport and think no one can hear them.

no manners, no respect and pure ignorance grrrrrrrr

chrissyh Sat 17-Oct-15 15:24:49

Mobility scooters that go faster than walking pace

People without manners

People who put their shopping though the checkout and then start sorting out their numerous coupons

Young men who put their hands down the front of their trousers and into their underwear in public

Being in an wheel electric wheelchair I hate pedestrians who think they need to overtake me . one guy ran and jumped past me ..instead of waiting 3 seconds to let me pass -- crazy

Hate Crimes of any sort and our police & crime commissioner thinks they are so unimportant that he has closed the small team who deal with these cases and left victims with no means of dedicated resolution

Ex pats that treat the friendly local like a stupid pet dog.

Ex pats that turn their noses up at the customs and food of the country they live in and won't even try to speak the language.

Ex pats who behave more English than the English but have never lived in England.

Gagamarnie Sat 17-Oct-15 13:41:07

1. Bad managers who are paid more than me.
2. People who park their cars in Disabled spaces without being disabled themselves. How would they like a disability?
3. Noise and diesel smells from building work.

Soobee38 Sat 17-Oct-15 13:24:06

What a lovely person you are GrannyMosh!

poshpaws Sat 17-Oct-15 13:03:29

1. People who risk my animals' lives driving far too fast down my track which is sadly a right of way. (And if I'd known that I'd never have bought the place! Useless solicitor!)

2. Drivers who don't slow down for horses.

3. People who swear in public. (I swear like a trooper myself, but never in public!)

GrandmaH Sat 17-Oct-15 12:36:26

Cyclists!! Especially when they ride 3 abreast on country roads & will NOT move over. Pay tax & insurance, take a test & then you may have a right to use the roads.

Cold calls - but I now only answer numbers I recognise.

Dog mess & I speak as a dog lover & owner. No need at all for it- nappy bags are cheap & easy to stuff in your pocket.

cheeky no. 4- annoying nosey neighbour who thinks we all have nothing better to do than listen to her interminable stories of how great her family are.( I've been listening to this for 20 years now) Strange they never visit.

I'm in a bad mood today though if I'm honest.

mischief Sat 17-Oct-15 12:32:38

I don't really have any hates, they are annoyances really.

1. Tess Daly - I find her soooo annoying, I don't think she engages her brain before speaking or pointing at someone. (someone will probably say - people who don't like Tess Daly now) and Russell Brand.

2. Computer spam and scams.

3. Cold calling by phone or in person and junk mail.

grrrrrr.

jingl. Just dont read a thread if it depresses you. Plenty of other things to do in life that are uplifting.

Elegran Sat 17-Oct-15 12:06:08

Started.

Elegran Sat 17-Oct-15 12:04:35

Let's start another then, jings "Three things I love" will you begin or shall I?

It'll probably go the same way as STB's thread about why we are glad to be British though - for some reason the bad has more attraction than the good.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 17-Oct-15 11:50:15

Sorry Lona.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 17-Oct-15 11:49:38

I think this is a dreadful thread. Why dwell on the bad things? confused

Depressing to read it.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 17-Oct-15 11:47:02

...and at times, several of hose other things.

You a saint?

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 17-Oct-15 11:45:51

Flip me Antjexix! You definitely hate me. I am getting more and lazy. hmm

matson Sat 17-Oct-15 11:37:47

People spitting in the street!

Inequality is not the same as difference. Men and women are certainly different and that is a lot of fun in many ways... But surely they are equally important?

Jackthelad Sat 17-Oct-15 10:56:36

Adverts on the TV that seem to have no meaning.

People at the checkout who take ages to pack the shopping and then can't find their purse.

Women who bang on about equality, Men and women are not equal, thank god, that's what makes it so much fun and makes so many great partnerships. Each one can provide so much the other can't.

henetha Sat 17-Oct-15 10:29:35

Slow drivers.
Double barrelled surnames.
Inequality for women.

Bellanonna Sat 17-Oct-15 10:23:03

All bad manners and that would cover very many of the specific instances cited on here

Ads on radio and telly, but I always mute them, but understand why they have to exist

Peoples' feet on train seats

Cupcake - who is Lorraine? She who is patronising ?
And Nonnie we are bound to get repeats, and I don't mind as I may not have read the thread from the beginning either
