Sex education books for children

The recent internet comments about this book express shock and horror. I cannot imagine why - it provides facts in a loving context.

It is intriguing that in these highly sexualised times people should find the basic facts so hard to deal with.

My mum gave me a similar book when I was young, and then I asked anything I wanted to know. Didn't put me off!

What a patronising git! Why does Siam Goorwich think that a sketch of naked people is "awks"?, which I suppose is Metro-speak for awkward. No wonder he/she feels put off sex for life.

This link is to a book from the 70's which I think is excellent - this link is rather taking the mickey out of it, but I think it is spot-on. What do others think? You can buy it on amazon for ??999!!!!!!
