Good morning all from a bright, sunny Tees Valley.

Happy anniversary Daffy and Ann.

The moss sounds interesting thatbags, there are so many different forms and colours, although I have no idea of the difference between mosses and lichens.

We had a fabulous but exhausting day yesterday, so I'm hoping for a quiet, relaxing one today.

Not too bad here on Sussex Downs going blackberrying after lunch

Back from blackberrying. Very heavy thundery clouds and humid.

Had a great day out tramping through bogs with members of the British Bryological Society who kindly let me tag along and were very informative. One of the best summer days we've had weatherwise too. Now shattered and drinking tea by the pot.
