Congratulations to the parents! And well done for choosing the bathroom floor. My daughter had her second son ( delivered by partner) on the rug in the living room. She had planned a home birth but not quite like that! She would have sympathy with the family where floor needed revarnishing - she had searched everywhere to find said rug, but then had to throw it out!
. And yes, I too know someone who gave birth on the bathroom floor - and someone who gave birth at work in the staff toilets. Sometimes those storylines on TV aren't as farfetched as we assume!Baby sweater made from my stash
