I'm with you PRINTMISS. I love cricket and especially Test Matches. And I have a real soft spot for all the team.

It was a brilliant few days, thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Well done our boys! We played cricket at school and I must admit that I was quite good at it. Gave us a good understanding of the game which obviously makes it much more enjoyable to watch.

Yay! We won the Ashes!

I'm glad we won the Ashes but I hate cricket. It just goes on forever. The upside is that you can nod off and when you wake up the chances are you haven't missed anything.

You also have to blame my ex for my attitude to cricket.

We too only watched the highlights, and I am not allowed to watch the news on those days, because the other half doesn't want to know the score before watching. I just catch up on the BBC latest scores web site. I know what you mean about nodding off Vampire, it is the laid back attitude of the game that I love. I was watching cricket with my dad on the local "patch" when war was declared, and remember the aircraft flying overhead.

Well yes and no. I enjoy the idea that DH loves it and that GS is a very promising junior but I would have liked it if DH had had his day at Trent Bridge today and left e to have a day off.
