When I was paying for my daughter's rented room while she was at uni I used to deduct the deposit from the final month's rent. It's probably not legal but it worked every time.

I paid the deposit on the rented house DD moved out of on 9th June. Despite giving the agents my bank details I'm still waiting for my

I have just spoken to the agents and was told they'd look into it and call back.
I'm sure the ex trousered the money I should have had back from the two lets when he was around. (he kept saying 'there was a problem') This time I expected to get my money
