DH likes to cook himself a full English on a Sunday. I have just bacon and egg.

Do you get up at the same time each day, or just whenever you wake up ?

Books are my life. They are everywhere. I never leave the house without reading material, so if I have a brief moment I can read a few pages. When I am engrossed in a book I feel I enter the world of the book. Yesterday I was in Paris in the 17th Century .

What do you have for your Sunday breakfast and is it different from what you eat in the week?

Handbags - always searching for the perfect one, and nice cotton tee shirts.

Do you have lots of books?

No, it desperately needs doing

Is there something you can't resist buying and have lots of i.e. handbags ?

A little embroidered hanky my DD2 bought for Mother's Day when she was about 7.

Do you prune your wardrobe regularly ?

I have a younger sister and an older brother. I'm in touch with my sister most days and we are very close. Not so much my brother. We see him Christmases and birthdays etc., even though he lives very near.

Do you have a keepsake that you would never part with?

Nothing I can think of, others might disagree.

Do you talk to your siblings (if you have any) regularly?

Certainly not, although I am not a last minute person.

Do you have any unusual habits?

No not really. With 3 lads we had to do a bonfire night and I was always a nervous wreck.

Are you planning for Christmas yet?

No way.

Do you enjoy Nov 5th?

Instant gravy every time. Instant mash when self catering on holiday sometimes.

The iron

Do you ever use instant mashed potato or instant gravy>

I have four resident magpies. It took me several months to realise that they are permanent I presume. I dont think they sing?!

Do you have a household item languishing in the back of a cupboard?

My garden robin ( he would call it his garden)

What was the first bird you saw or heard this morning?

No.

What was the last thing that made you really laugh ?

I like cleaning the kitchen sink - very therapeutic.

Have you ever made ice cream?

How quickly they dropped in value!

No, although I did consider a caravan a while back, until I found out how quick value.

Is there a mundane task which you find therapeutic? For me is it slicing runner beans.

No. Next move will be celestial ( or otherwise, or neither!)

Do you have a second home, caravans included ?

Mystery surrounds my half sister's father. Mum was married at the time but not to him

Do you plan to move again at some point or is this your forever home ?

Oven chips, but still harbour intentions of getting out the fryer.

Do you have any family mysteries[one of my aunts in law chose to go missing for a year after a separation].

My uncle (long gone) had two names - not sure why. He was known as Bob and Fred. A family story goes that people were talking about Bob and his mother said "who is Bob." His real name was Fred but I always knew him as Bob.

Do you still use a chip pan to fry chips or is it always oven chips these days?

DH has his DF's name as middle name and so does DS. DGS are named after their paternal GF's

Does anyone in your family have a nickname. Does everyone use it rather than their given name?

I did dance but was never really that good.

Do you have any 'family names' in your family, i.e. a first name that has been passed down through the generations?
