Reading the good cup of tea thread made me think about what we say, when getting older ( signs of ageing) as I actually said to Mr Roses yesterday when we got home from shopping " sit down and I'll make us a nice cup of tea!"

but his annoying friend. I've adored Bill ever since I read that comment about tea.
. I'm just recovering from a long drive to collect MrBags's computer from the mender's. A restorative cup of tea has now been imbibed and I think I can get my brain in gear to make dinner.
I always misjudge how long to leave it to mash so it's either so strong the spoon stands up in it or as weak as dirty dishwater. I put it down to being a coffee drinker who only drinks the occasional cup of tea.
