If people are going to write threads about threads , could they please make reference to the offending post so that those of us who haven't read the original post know what's going on ?( Even if we should tell ourselves that it's a ridiculous waste of time , and that we should be doing something more worthwhile than reading them) !

Is this yet another thread about a thread? hmm

jollyg is right. Things have been some posts have been really nasty in the last few days.

I would say bullying/scapegoating has been going on except that I have been assured on many occasions that this never happens on GN grin

We so need a halo emoti for our angelic posters.

JollyG isn't wrong! Some of the tit for tat arguing going on in some of the threads is astounding. I like an argument at times but things are getting really nasty.

Yep, that's the one!

A monologue is a speech delivered by one person, or a long one-sided conversation that makes you want to pull your hair out from boredom. The Greek root word monologos translates to “speaking alone,” and that's a monologue: one person doing all the talking.

Enjoy your monologue.

Look to yourself Mrs/Mr. You sound lovely!

Shall we lay some bets as to how long this thread will run? I'd give it 'foive' (minutes that is)!

I do pop in occasionally, and WOW how do some folk get wound up.

We all look forward to some sun, warm weather, but on some threads it appears to me some posters are downright nasty.

Addled brains ,or too much Pimms.

Enjoy the weather whilst it lasts, winter is coming soon.
