Secrecy on Gransnet

I wish there was an opportunity to make an occasional comment anonymously. There was one thread where I would have valued some wise input from other GNs but if any member of my family, or friends, saw the comment it would have possibly revealed who I was and compromised a close relative.

If this was possible, HQ would need to police the comments in their usual way.

What I can see those who are shown in black , you cannot contact with private messages , those who are in blue you can see the profile and also send private messages.

Not quite, you can send private messages to those in black without profiles too.
