Any lovely ladies ever had a thought or been interested in a younger man or had a younger man interested in you?

rubylady Fri 03-Jul-15 23:47:11

I had a long term relationship with a man 19 years my junior.

mrcuriousuk You would not be my junior, you are older than I am! I'm still not interested though, gave it up for lent!

DBH is younger than me, too. It wasn't intentional.

I suppose that's the part that I find strange, the deliberate search for a specific age group, as strange as men who deliberately look for wives half their age.

have been with my OH for 12 years......he is 20 years ....and...6 months my junior...looks don't come into it he is obviously 42 ...I am not so obviously 62.1/2....mentally we meet in the middle somewhere....physically depends on how tired we both aregrin

I don't find the question offensive either, just a bit blunt, as well as being ambiguous.

Envious Fri 03-Jul-15 14:49:46

You never know where you might find love. I don't find his question offensive.I married a younger man thirty years ago for who he was not his looks.

Physically, anyway!

What on earth gave him the idea that this was a dating site? confused

Do they come on here in order to avoid online agency fees?

jollg I fear the OP wants the same as you, just different sex! And is maybe not disabled.

I've often been curious about and interested in young men. Why wouldn't I be if they are interesting people? I take an interest in young women too. And old ones.

Oh, wait! that's not what you meant? The words running through my mind right now with regard to the way the OP is expressed are: Daft Bugger.

Oh dear! I think that might be playing the man instead of the tennis (innuendo intended). I'd better bugger off.

Why would I be curious about a younger man? Been there, done that, seen it all, quite a lot of times.

My mum might be interested she's 93.

Youngest son's wife is 10 years younger than him. DIL's logic was that having had an older husband who died, she chose a younger one who would probably last longer.

mrshat Tue 30-Jun-15 17:18:24

What a very odd post, jollyg...confused

Victoria08 Tue 30-Jun-15 14:35:59

I am nearly seventy and my partner is fourteen years younger than me. We met after I was widowed and I was sixty then. So yes, it is possible to snare a younger man, if that is what you want. Incidentally, the age difference doesn't seem to make any difference as I am young at heart and certainly don't look my age.

Nelliemoser Tue 30-Jun-15 13:15:16

jollyg Tue 30-Jun-15 12:29:14

Memo to anyone who posts details/pix of yourself, think twice.

There was I thinking that he is the sort that galen looks for, from her posts.

Big bad world out there even for grannies.

Bellanonna Tue 30-Jun-15 12:27:37

Oh gosh yes, I forgot the bingo! I'm sure he'd love it FarNorth !

grannyactivist Tue 30-Jun-15 11:43:32

Bellanonna grin grin

FarNorth Tue 30-Jun-15 11:37:49

I hope mrcurious hasn't run away, Bella. That's sounds a lovely day he could have with you. Would he be allowed to join in with the bingo session too?

Nonnie Tue 30-Jun-15 11:15:02

Well done Bella.

No Elegran more 'wondering' than 'wishing'! If I did get one I don't suppose I would be as good as Bella in response. grin

Actually there are far too many men in my life already, all ages!
