Who would get your vote for the most naturally beautiful woman, ever?
No face lifts, no botox etc.
My vote would go to Audrey Hepburn.

That's a very difficult on!
Liz Taylor, Ava Gardner, a number of the old times actresses.

I can't think of anyone currently at the moment.

KatyK Sat 13-Jun-15 15:20:44

I agree re Elizabeth Taylor. I always wanted to look like Brigitte Bardot (it never happened grin )

Jomarie Sat 13-Jun-15 15:38:55

My favourite is Sophia Loren - fabulous at all ages, but Liz Taylor is a very close second. smile

grannyonce Sat 13-Jun-15 16:08:15

most beautiful woman IMO - Grace Kelly (she aged very well)
most handsome man - just to even the debate - has to be Paul Newman

Debbie Harry when she sang Denis Denis on Top of the Pops. She wore a man's red shirt as a dress and looked amazing.

just thought of Colin Firth in his Pride and Prejudice role - but he is not so good looking since and has not aged as well as Paul Newman grin

grannyonce Sat 13-Jun-15 16:13:48

sorry I have veered off-topic when thinking about handsome men [swoon]

vampirequeen Sat 13-Jun-15 16:15:23

Oooh yes Colin Firth as he walked up to the house dripping wet.

grannyonce Sat 13-Jun-15 16:23:53

VQ - yes - could watch that scene over and over (in fact I have the DVD)
a bit of a let down when he appeared so ordinary in Mama Mia sad

KatyK Sat 13-Jun-15 16:28:04

Ooo yes Paul Newman. Also Colin Firth coming out of that lake. We went to the house where that was filmed (Lyme Park). We saw the lake and DH offered to do a take off of Colin Firth emerging from the water.
I declined his kind offer grin

Vivien Leigh. Absolute classic beauty.

janeainsworth Sat 13-Jun-15 16:35:27

Yes Tegan I was just going to put Vivien Leigh then I saw your post!
I like Julia Roberts too.

janeainsworth Sat 13-Jun-15 16:36:39

There was an exhibition of photos of Vivien Leigh recently at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle.

joannapiano Sat 13-Jun-15 16:46:42

I think Jean Shrimpton knocks the socks off all of today's models.

Teetime Sat 13-Jun-15 16:57:52

Liz Taylor first prize
Sophia Loren second prize

brunettes rule yay!!!smile

POGS Sat 13-Jun-15 16:57:53

I think Bo Derek is a beauty but I always thought Ingrid Bergmen had a beautiful face too.

So many to choose from really.

Teetime Sat 13-Jun-15 17:20:25

If we are talking about the boys - Rufus Sewell in Zen- brunette again!!

Falconbird Sat 13-Jun-15 17:49:30

Joanna Lumley - a natural beauty who is aging really well.

Ana Sat 13-Jun-15 17:56:16

I always thought Natalie Wood was rather stunning.

Tegan Sat 13-Jun-15 18:01:18

Agree about Rufus Sewell [first saw him in, I think Middlemarch and then Cold Comfort Farm...sigh]....Have a picture of Jean Shrimpton floating around my pooter room somewhere..was on the front page of a magazine and couldn't throw it away. I so wanted to look like her when I was in my teens.

petra Sat 13-Jun-15 18:05:27

Have to go with Natalie Wood. Although I very much doubt if there's non of the above who have not had a bit of work done. I know that Grace Kelly had her nose done.

grumppa Sat 13-Jun-15 18:15:20

Most of the above, plus Catherine Deneuve, Ginger Rogers, Louise Brooks...

Iam64 Sat 13-Jun-15 18:27:24

Yes all of the above - I don't see Ginger Rogers as beautiful but what a personality, that's what makes her gorgeous imo.

I love the way so many posters immediately started listing beautiful men on this thread. I watched an old film with Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, James Coben and others of that era the other evening - what a gorgeous lot they were.

grannyonce Sat 13-Jun-15 18:36:46

Iam64 - natural progression from most beautiful woman posts
to not mention the many 'beautiful men' would be discriminatory grin
