Lona Mon 18-May-15 14:04:37

Ah! Seen the adjusted one now! Very smart!

Alygran Mon 18-May-15 14:14:03

Both beautiful but I'd go with the teal

Galen Mon 18-May-15 14:55:00

Teal!

soop Mon 18-May-15 15:09:13

Wow!!! My dithering is over and done with. Thank you for sparing the time to comment. I really appreciate your input. wine ...a little later. wink

janerowena Mon 18-May-15 15:10:35

Teal!

Or, take both and change halfway through!

soop Mon 18-May-15 15:13:36

janer don't confuse matters. wink I have a simple outfit ready for the evening session. MacS keeps nodding his head...

What does our pompa think?

janerowena Mon 18-May-15 15:24:27

He's probably too scared to say anything!

pompa Mon 18-May-15 15:28:13

LOL, do you remember the trouble I got into commenting on leggings ? Learn't my lesson. smile
But whenever did I learn from my mistakes. You look ravishing in both, I do however prefer the teal outfit (as does Mrs. P. ) Classy looking outfit for a classy Soop.

I have something else to talk about, but will put it in a separate post.

pompa Mon 18-May-15 15:35:36

My Dr. has my x-ray results and wants to see me Thursday, no clue as to the result. hmm On edge until Thursday morning.

On my way back to the car I ran into a friend. I was telling him of my troubles, he said would you like me to pray for you. I said that although I was not a believer, I would be grateful for any help I could get (I assumed he meant at church on Sunday, but no ) there and then i the middle of our village he was hugging me and prying for me. I was so emotional, I was close to tears. I know he has a very strong faith, but he never mentions it, so for hom to be so hands on was a surprise. Truly moved.

rosesarered Mon 18-May-15 15:44:09

That's lovely Pompa. We don't let out emotions enough.

rosesarered Mon 18-May-15 15:44:45

Good luck for Thursday too.

rosesarered Mon 18-May-15 15:47:49

Soop's, just checked out your outfits, I like them all, really stylish.

Lona Mon 18-May-15 15:49:43

pompa He sounds like a lovely friend. Many good wishes for Thursday.

Elegran Mon 18-May-15 16:01:36

Yes, the teal.

kittylester Mon 18-May-15 16:26:22

The teal soop, you look lovely!

pompa, try not to worry about your doctor's appointment. DH has yearly PSA tests and always gets a letter askingnhim to come in to discuss the results and every time comes back having been told he is fine!

What a lovely thing for your friend to do! When DH and I got engaged we went to see my old Sunday School teacher to invite him to the wedding. He and his wife insisted on praying for us but I had absolutely no idea how to react after - does one say 'Amen', 'Thanks a lot' or what? My mother's etiquette lessons never included the correct response to being prayed for!

loopylou Mon 18-May-15 16:34:05

I love the teal, very swish smile, you look stunning.

pompa - Thinking of you and fingers firmly crossed for Thursday. Doctors won't give any results over the phone at my surgery, so that isn't anything new, just prolongs the wait unfortunately.

I hope you gained some comfort from your friend's gesture, how lovely of him to demonstrate his support for you. It must a huge worry for you and your family.

numberplease Mon 18-May-15 16:39:18

Soop, I like both outfits, but the teal is particularly lovely.
Pompa, all the best for Thursday, but as Kitty says, all will probably be fine.
My hair is in a terrible state, I`ve not been to a hairdresser for 15 months, and it desperately needs seeing to, but the lady who used to come to the house doesn`t do hairdressing anymore, and the hairdresser at the salon just round the corner has gone now. Getting into town is difficult, and expensive, a lot of money if it rains on the way home! Then the other day my daughter reminded me that the hairdressing students at the college just along the road from here take appointments from the general public to get the practice, and they`re also cheap, so I now have an appointment for Thursday morning for a cut and perm! I believe it`s £7.50 for a cut, and upwards from £13 for a perm, very do-able for me.

soop Mon 18-May-15 17:04:24

pompa You are (in my opinion) a star! Thank you and Mrs P for being such good sports. Your friend must think very highly of you. His gesture was, I'm sure, very comforting. Please try not to worry unduly. After Thursday's appointment you will be wiser and please, if you wish, share whatever the outcome with us lot. (((hugs)))

I have put the alternative outfit away in the wardrobe. I cannot thank you all enough for putting my mind at rest. I've been in a proper tiz-woz...it's what I'm particularly good at. wink

number the hairdo will lift your spirits. I'm delighted for you. smile

Charleygirl Mon 18-May-15 19:20:53

soop I am so pleased that there were no divided opinions but you did look very sylish in both.

pompa all the very best for Thursday- you know that we are behind you whatever the outcome.

annodomini Mon 18-May-15 19:32:15

soop, you'd look elegant in a bin bag! I know the decision is already made, but I concur. The teal is very 'you' but do take care not to outshine the bride! sunshine

Crafting Mon 18-May-15 19:50:45

Soop so sorry to be late. I know you have been waiting all day for my thoughts on your outfit - what with me being such a fashionista and all! siiting comfortably in my jog pants and t shirt I must agree you look lovely in both but the teal is the winner.

pompa fingers and everything else crossed for good news for you on Thursday (actually could someone just pop round and untangle my legs from behind my neck) grin. What a lovely gesture from your friend.

dustyangel Mon 18-May-15 21:52:07

soop another vote for the teal outfit, (what a beautiful colour!) in fact it suits you so well that first of all I thought that you had gone mad and ordered it in two different colours. grin

Pompa try not to worry too much. Years ago our GP phoned me at home and specifically asked to speak to DH. He was out and I worried myself silly until he could phone her back. She wanted to ask him for two tickets to the youth disco he was organising at the time. hmm
Best of luck for Thursday. smile

Soutra Mon 18-May-15 22:17:18

The colour of the first outfit IS very unusual and I initially preferred it go the 'navy' which I always find "safe", but then when I realised it was teal and saw the adjusted picture-well, it is stunning! So teal from me too!

Nelliemoser Mon 18-May-15 22:56:38

Hello! I would say the teal. ot just looks best wirh you colouringe

Nelliemoser Mon 18-May-15 23:01:02

Whoops!
Hello! I would say the teal, it just looks best with your colouring. How are you getting the colour changes. I have missed all this.
