Shows that dog has no spunky!

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 17:46:13

He's been moaning on because he says that it takes him ages to get his flame going and surfing will probably put it out, so I got miffed and said "forget it, you don't say that when you are paddling in the pond". Honestly there is no pleasing some dragon/dogs.

Iam64 Sat 02-May-15 18:22:31

whitewave, can I have a lift from your dragon dog please? My 3 doodle dogs are good at many things, but giving reliable lifts from the north west to Tintagel seems a bit beyond them. I'm disappointed because I'm currently looking after daughters mini doodle as well as my own 2, you'd think they'd make the effort wouldn't you.

Thistledoo Sat 02-May-15 18:26:51

Oh this sounds really exciting, but schools on holiday so looking after DGC.
Any good suggestions as to what to do with them while I'm on retreat in Tintagel. My broomstick can't fly that far so will be coming on my caber, I'll get a burly bagpiper to pilot me. Perhaps I'll give him a loan of my knickers so he won't get a draft up his kiltgrin.

Galen Sat 02-May-15 18:46:21

Won't they be too voluminous for him (ducks behind parapet)

loopylou Sat 02-May-15 18:50:57

Very secure dungeon so accompanying GCs can be accommodated.
I believe it can sleep 35 and I'll ask Caleb (goaler) to make sure he keeps them entertained, fed, watered etc.

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 19:00:35

iam I've booked you in. Do you want picking up from your hovel or will you arrange a meeting point?

thistle could you get me a bagpiper to stand in as Lancelot only I have no offers so far - story of my life.

Iam64 Sat 02-May-15 19:04:11

Thanks whitewave - I'll pop over the pendle hill, just round the corner and stand on the top waving a pointy hat so the dragon can't miss me. Thistledo, so pleased you'll be able to join us and that a very secure dungeon sleeping 35 has been arranged by loopylou for any spare grandchildren. It's looking good grin

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 19:06:52

I don't need to remind anybody having a lift on the dragon/dog not to mention the tortoise do I only I can't really be responsible for his reaction.

Thistledoo Sat 02-May-15 19:12:03

Galen hope you don't bang you head on you parapet. My knickers are perhaps a little voluminous for the said kilted hunk. But.... I do have a thong somewhere in my knicker draw. Iam64 could I maybe refuel at your hovel.
Could give you a lift in you like. Whitewave I'll try and call up another kilted highlander for you.

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 19:16:10

thistle Could he come with his helmet please? Only he won't look much like a knight otherwise.

Iam64 Sat 02-May-15 19:20:52

whitewave, don't worry I'm a retired public servant, so risk assessment is my middle name. Dragons and tortoises are a doddle when compared to some of the risks I've assessed smile

Galen Sat 02-May-15 20:13:54

Do tell us about the tortoise? Are Donald's teeth ok?

Galen Sat 02-May-15 20:15:33

Trying to imagine a burly highlander in a thong!blush I have a vivid imagination --- but?!

cazthebookworm Sat 02-May-15 20:19:38

Thisledoo a THONG! It's worth coming along just to see you in that;! See you at the party. I will just be an innocent maid. [Blush]

annodomini Sat 02-May-15 20:44:57

A thong? It's a bit draughty at Tintagel!

bikergran Sat 02-May-15 20:45:06

Thistledoo put them to bed early lol grin

bikergran Sat 02-May-15 20:51:46

Galen think we may need some security bigger the better supervisors with this one!!! shock even I is shocked shock I can see the Highland police attending! and I'm not spending the night in the cells again. And what!! with me with no matches yet! talk about Will Young " Come on Baby Light My Fire " !

boheminan Sat 02-May-15 21:19:15

There's room for one on the back of my balding De-Luxe newly waxed model Oxford Broomstick with safety handles, if anyone's coming from the Oxford direction? I could do with someone who's au fait with Bat Nav's, they may also like to navigate/fly the return journey? Two barrels of mead doesn't make for my flying in very straight lines and we could end up in France

Thistledoo Sat 02-May-15 21:52:58

Caz...... I won't be wearing the thong the kilted hunk will, actually there's two coming now so must turn the dam draw upside down and find another thong. Prepare the dungeon for 3 highland kids with thick scottish accents and tempers to match. Oh and I need to bring my cat too.
Have to be careful SS don't get wind of this.

Galen Sat 02-May-15 22:07:59

shock
This is supposed to be a nice gathering of grans with suitable refreshments appropriate for our age and seniority!
It appears to be turning into a sort of orgy?

Oh what the hell! You only live once!
Let's go for it!

Yawn!

cazthebookworm Sun 03-May-15 09:43:56
