Could be nannieroz looking for me whitewave - I've got my telescope out looking skywards in case it was her.

whitewave Mon 04-May-15 11:40:03

Whizzed past Worthing and Chichester but having to work hard around the Isle of Wight - tides all over the place. Just saw a pink hand who is that? Bit off course isn't it?

boheminan Mon 04-May-15 10:56:47

wheniwasyourage I've tied the Bat Nav to the back seat handle, it may squeak a bit but will remain hanging head down. Can you get to the Ashmolean by 3.02pm? that's my estimated time of arrival in Oxford. I'll be guised as a step sweeper outside the Randolph Hotel - the one with the black pointed beany hat - the password is 'GNasher'...grin

What with all the promised food, drink and excitement I am glad that the virtual facilities are not medieval....and no queue!!

Gagagran Mon 04-May-15 10:49:47

I'm stuck on Tenner Lady - it won't move at all now so I am patiently watching the sky for a large, pink, foam hand on a super-de-luxe 7-seater broomstick to zoom down and pick me up. Ready when you are nannieroz! grin

Lilygran Mon 04-May-15 10:48:00

The cat refuses to sit on the broomstick but I'm trying to get him into the cat carrier.

I am on my way!!! Surfing from Brighton to Tintagel will take some time especially if the tide is against me. Not bad going so far the biggest problem is that it takes so much time being landed on the beach and then having to dash back out to catch another, still I am pleased to say that the wet suit is bearing up, it was touch and go trying to get into it.

Falconbird Mon 04-May-15 10:10:34

I've made the quorn Cornish Pasties and me and Rick Wakeman are waiting for Rubysong at the Severn Bridge. If Ruby doesn't turn up Rick has offered me a lift in his stretch limo. grin

Remember it's all virtual so the table will be as big as we want it. smile

Thistledoo Mon 04-May-15 09:58:54

Oooooo I can't wait, I'm busy in the making the haggis which will go down well with the aged malt I have in the cellar. The hunks are here getting ready, I've got the kilts to press and DGC are shut in the lobster pot playpen along with the cat. The hunks are just getting some practice in the garden tossing our transport (the caber). Warming the thongs on the radiator.
Are we all going to fit around the round table. grin

Wheniwasyourage Mon 04-May-15 08:37:47

Will I do, if I can get that far? I have no idea how to get from Oxfordshire to Tintagel, so we may have to go by the scenic route, but then we might find somewhere to pick up some more vodka jellies. The haggis is packed.

boheminan Sun 03-May-15 23:54:21

HELLO! anyone need a hitch from Oxford(shire)? I have an empty place behind me on the stick and I need a navigator

Will pick you up from "Tenner Lady" at Somerset Levels gagagran. Don't forget lookout for the large baby pink foam hand!

annodomini Sun 03-May-15 20:49:52

The vodka jellies will arrive on time and I'm going to ration them, Galen!

Galen Sun 03-May-15 20:30:40

This has the making of an epic party!
(Hope we don't get banned or deleted by gnhq?)

20.00 start folks. Don't be late (or I'll have snaffled all the vodka jellies! Evilgrin)

Gagagran Sun 03-May-15 20:26:08

Well the curse has continued to my old barge aka the "Lady Shallnot" (because she is so difficult to steer). And now she is leaking like a sieve so I might re-name her ""Tenner Lady" - dare not use the other spelling.

newist Sun 03-May-15 20:24:12

Can I come please? I bought myself a new kayak for my 70th birthday, which I christened Tinkerbell (don't laugh) My arms are still not very strong to go far, I have just checked on my charts its 459ml from the Hebrides to Cornwall, If I start off now and paddle steady all night, barring creatures of the sea hindering my way, I should get there in time, I may need assistance getting out of Tinkerbell, because I might get set in situ

Galen Sun 03-May-15 20:12:10

The lady of Shallot had bad period pains!
"The curse has come upon me cried
The lady of Shallot"

Galen Sun 03-May-15 20:10:24

I love haggis

MrsPickle Sun 03-May-15 20:03:39

I'll be the lady of shallot, and that's shallot.

Falconbird Sun 03-May-15 19:31:14
