Funny thing, the English language...

A post made by Elegran made me think of this. Just consider the word "Scrap".

I can think of at least 3 different meanings for this:

1) Something small, as in a little bit of material
2) To designate something as no longer required
3) To fight, in a sort of unstructured way.

Anyone else think like this? I'm sure there are loads of other words that might come into the same sort of category, but I'm going to bed to make sure I don't open myself to the risk of altitude sickness.
