To flick or not to flick?

No definitely not touching anyone else that doesn't belong to you now- very hazardous. I'd just tell them if I thought it would save them embarrassment or harm in some way but very quietly and privately.

Whenever I tell Mr P that his trousers are fully closed, he replies "It pays to advertise!"

My sister and I were arranging an Aunts funeral in Cornwall and the undertaker has visiting the house and sat the whole time with his flies Widely open!!! Neither of us had the nerve to mention it nor look at each other, but it was the most peculiar visit and our tears were I am ashamed to say were of hilarity rather than grief, although we did truly mourn our dear Aunt.

Nicest way of dealing with skirt caught in knickers scenario overheard recently: 'What a lovely skirt, it suits you, but it has caught up at the back.'

I would certainly politely tell someone if their dress was tucked in or a lable sticking out, but it might be harder if it was a woman telling a man that his his flies were undone. Then it might be less embarrasing to ask another man to tell him.

I would be very cross if someone was then rude about it being mentioned to them.

My ex boss had his flies partially open at a meeting. I scribbled a quick note and passed it to him.

He said "oh, I haven't got my reading glasses with me, please read it out to me" So I did.

Slightly less mortifying, on the way to a wedding my lovely mum, wearing a beautifully tailored outfit she'd made, noticed a tiny thread on the jacket sleeve.
She pulled it and the sleeve fell off - she'd forgotten to machine it in!
Rapid return home to chance and very thankful it hadn't happened at the church

As an arachnophobe I'd much prefer someone flicked rather than tell me minutes later a spider has gone down my neck!
Even worse would be me realising a spider was wandering around under my clothes [shudder, feeling sick]
