Grey undies....

I bought myself two new bras at the weekend, same brand as usual, and put them in the drawer. I was then forced to throw out the washed out grey ones as they looked so grubby beside them, but this makes me feel guilty as functionally there's nothing wrong with them. I did think of the bra bank but I wouldn't want anyone to have my old grey things. I start out with every good intention, hand washing and not tumble drying, but then it all starts slipping (the intentions, not the bra!) and they end up flung in the machine with everything else.

I can hear my mother though, "what if you were knocked down?" I don't think the colour of my undies would be my priority if that were the case!

Sorry, just my rather feeble little joke! smile

Ana, apologies, I'm fairly new to this GN thing, so haven't got the hang of people's sense of humour yet. Must try harder grin

Hi.
Had the same problem with white undies. When they've lost their brilliant white, I put them into a solution of Yorkshire tea for most of the day. Without the T bag. They come out beige.

No, hold on, beige is good. Why? Wearing a white bra under a white top is noticeable, but not if you wearing a beige one.

I've a thin, summery top which has a swirly black and white pattern. black and white bras are definitely noticeable, but my beige ones aren't.grin

Yes that story is good. Had another chuckle reading it.
