That is sad - but it sounds as though her death is likely to be fairly quick, and, for such a vibrant character, it is good that she will not be subjected to a long drawn-out period of decline.

I hope that her passing is peaceful and that happy memories will sustain you all.

I am so sorry to hear this about your dear friend Katek.

This, I think, must be one of the most heartbreaking experiences when we lose a loved one.

I hope when you remember how much your friend enriched your life and the many happy memories you have it will help you bear the sadness.

I am so sorry to read this KateK. It's terribly sad to see lifelong friends, people who were full of energy and fun, suddenly reaching the end of the line like this.
As others have said, you must have so many lovely memories (and photos!) that I hope will carry you through and stay with you.

How sad. I wonder if she is still aware of having her family around her? If so I hope it will bring a shred of comfort and that the happy memories they and you must have, will soon wipe out the sadness of the next few weeks. For everybody's sake, I hope it is not too drawn-out. oh dear, is that wrong of me?
