I've had a lovely day thanks Lona although I had to go to work this morning. It's DD's birthday on Monday so I have an excuse to celebrate jointly again this weekend

Nice to know I have a birthday twin! I had a busy day. Closed on a house to live in and had two nice meals out. Now the hard part moving!

Thank you all for your good wishes. I am just back home after a visit to Hopetoun House and lunch there, plus spending some money in the farm shop. Currently eating fudge after polishing off a strawberry Danish pastry. I shall stay off the scales for a while.

Now June is almost here are Birthdays coming up ?

My DH is 70 on the 6 June. I told my 4 year old GS that we were having a small party for his Grandad. His response was 'well I haven't had an invitation'. So Grandad has mocked up on the computer 2 Minion character invitations for him and has 2 year old brother which are now in the post.

Hope you win the quarter finals today at Roland Garros. I suspect your opponent Novac Djokovic could pip you to the post, but as you said 'If I lose the world still goes on' - sensible lad.

Happy 70th DH who is sitting in bed with 2 very excited GSs 2 and 4. It is going to be noisy mayhem today.
