What are your predictions? I am sure it will be something traditional like Alice or James.

I am beginning to feel sorry for her, privileged though she might be

She did look a nice bonny baby though, in her snug bonnet.

rosequartz Sat 02-May-15 22:52:31

Oh, for goodness' sake! that is sad (meaning pathetic)

Anniebach Sat 02-May-15 22:37:13

They have started, a Sunday newspaper headline with photograph

The New Peoples Princess

MrsPickle Sat 02-May-15 20:37:53

I hope she doesn't inheit the genes of the rather scary Eugenie or Beatrice.

rubylady Sat 02-May-15 20:33:59

Well, they've took their little bundle home now. Of course, they wanted to be home in time for Britain's Got Talent and to order their takeaway! grin

rosequartz Sat 02-May-15 19:02:58

Thanks rubysong I forgot to add Mary to the list!! and Victoria and Frances.
The list is beginning to sound like a female football team!

rubysong Sat 02-May-15 15:02:55

My prediction is Mary (to be known as May). Other names to include , Elizabeth Victoria Alice.
(DS2 hopes not Alice as he wants that name for a hypothetical sometime in the future baby.)

Charleygirl Sat 02-May-15 14:39:59

I fancy Alice Louise for two of her many names. I do hope that Diana is not one of the many.

Ana Sat 02-May-15 13:45:12

I hope she grows up to look nothing like Diana, or we'll never hear the end of the comparisons...

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 02-May-15 13:42:44

Fantastic news! crown smile

jo1book Sat 02-May-15 13:34:19

I only pray she is tall and beautiful, or the press will not be kind.

Maggiemaybe Sat 02-May-15 11:58:41

Great name, *rosequartz! grin

Maggiemaybe Sat 02-May-15 11:56:38

Lovely! smile

As a royalist, jackie, I agree!

rosequartz Sat 02-May-15 11:52:28

Well, that is very well organised! One of each.
Welcome to Princess alexandrina charlotte matilda elizabeth diana carole alys mary georgiana louisa anne catherine philippa whoever ++++++
Or none of the above names grin

Ana Sat 02-May-15 11:44:27

Oh good! smile crown

Faye Sat 02-May-15 11:42:01

It's a girl.

jackiekiel Sat 02-May-15 09:06:39

As a Republican, I don't consider this baby to be more important than any other baby born in the world today. I wish them all a good life. although that's highly unlikely for some.

Pittcity Sat 02-May-15 08:24:47

I won't bother turning the news on then shysal as they will just fill it with pure speculation and fill the gap rubbish.
Hope she has an easy delivery and all is revealed before the day is out.

shysal Sat 02-May-15 07:58:54

She is in labour!

Anniebach Fri 01-May-15 09:50:21

Hope it is a boy, God help the child if a girl

rosequartz Fri 01-May-15 09:46:56

Not Margaret Rose, surely? Everyone will be making comparisons.

It will probably be a boy, that pink paint was just a tease.

feetlebaum Fri 01-May-15 08:39:26

How about 'Doreen'? Perhaps not...

Soutra Fri 01-May-15 08:27:25

No worries rosequartz, there is no "h" in Matilda. "Mathilde", French version, yes, but not in English.

Maggiemaybe Fri 01-May-15 08:09:22

So glad I secured early odds of 66 to 1 on Matilda, now it's 100 to 1 across the board. grin

I'll have egg on my face if they do rehabilitate Margaret, anno. Though thinking of Margaret Rose, I'm sure they tried to do so back in the day. grin

rubylady Fri 01-May-15 00:22:53

Soutra No, or I would have put Alicia. smile
