My cup runneth over! I am married, have a dog, live near(ish) to work. DH is a wonderful gardener so I always have flowers to smell. Unfortunately I'm not called Wendy! Well you can't have it all! I AM HAPPY. smile

I have recently started volunteering at a school helping 7 year olds to learn to read. Today one of them gave me a hug smile That made me feel happy.

sun makes me happy as does walking along a Cornish beach. My dog makes me happy as does my garden. Listening to bird song makes me happy as does a lovely view on a walk. a good book makes me happy as does a seeing my family. My DH makes me happy when he brings me a cup of tea in bed in the morning.

I am easily pleased as you can see!

It has been a nice day so far.

That includes picture 4 that you can see.
For some reason, I went to sleep and have slept for 4 hours. Had a lovely sleep with the sun streaming in. I feel chilled and relaxed.

I think that overall, it is contentment that matters.
But I am not saying no to happiness too!

Can be very fleeting, happiness.

By that I mean it can crop up very suddenly, and then buzz off again. Sometimes.

I took one of my three year old grandaughters to ballet and it was just enchanting to watch...big room with a lovely oak floor, sun streaming in through the huge windows and eight little girls in their ballet shoes all being dancing fairies and "very very quiet" rabbits! Perfect! :-)
