Don't get it - just looks like perfectly ordinary bog standard undies. Could this be a marketing ploy?

If you follow a link on the page, they want people to pledge money for support - in return for it you get some underwear, the more you pledge the more you get - sounds very like a sales campaign to me!

But it does look very comfortable and and the models are real women with bulgy bits.

Yes, Mishap it looks pretty normal to me. Can't bear underwires. Looks very comfortable but the sizes are S,M and L. I suspect a larger size bra might not do much for the larger size bosom!

It's a Kickstarter thing. Lots of people are doing it these days, with all kind of projects. I can't see it's any different from begging.

jings I don't see it as being the same as begging, it's not as if your average beggar will say "gives a fiver, and I'll buy us each a cup of coffee". I think "crowdsourcing" is a more accurate description.

When I donated to the "Incredible Edible"** project on Kickstarter, it didn't feel like begging. It's very successful now**.

I think the material is meant to be stretchy and not restricting.

From what I've seen on Twitter, it seems to people who are likely to have a lot more money, and living better lifestyles, than the people they are trying to get money from. I think it's a con.

I got a copy of the book. The way crowdsourcing works, you only pay if target is reached and the project is delivered. Before that it's a pledge. I think kickstarter is the same.

She's not going to sell many of these garments - saggy, ill-fitting and what's the point of bras which give no support at all? You may as well wear none, which would be more comfortable.

They look like variations on good ole Sloggis, variations that are not very well designed. Knickers cut too high at the back leg, bra straps not wide enough....

I really don't see what's feminist about the underwear at all. There is plenty of non-ditsy women's underwear about already. Models with "bulgy bits" may be a nod to feminism but the underwear is just underwear and not the sort I'd wear, feminist or no.

I think crowd funding is a brilliant idea, particularly when it provides investment for goods and services for niche markets and which may be socially valuable but which do not yield the sort of profits that most finance providers demand. I like the idea of fledgling businesses having easier access to investment funds but I got sick of watching Dragons Den because of all the pointless and often wasteful services and products that were being pitched.

Personally, I would not invest in this very uninspiring (and I think unnecessary) range of lingerie. I would be more interested in things that are really innovative and useful. But people have a choice as to whether they give money or not.

Speaking as a person with practically no bosoms a very small bust, unless I wear either gel bras or air bras I hardly make a break in the fabric of whatever top I'm wearing. Take the bra off, and the breasts go with it!

Still, I suppose what was never there can never droop.

Happy memories of when I had the DS's. Once the boob fairy had been (oh, I remember it so well! That turning over in bed and where ones arm would usually drop down onto the bed, it's fall was impeded by a newly arrived bosom!) I would spend longer in front of the mirror than was strictly necessary.

I would have loved to be able to keep them, but sadly they returned all to quickly to their pre-baby state

Why do they think that feminist underwear should be so unflattering? Surely you can be independent and intelligent without having to look like a sack of potatoes.

The garments remind me of those worn by strict religious sects like the Amish.
