We were told at the hospital tonight that hubby may be able to come home tomorrow. To be honest, I`m scared that we won`t be able to manage. He walked unaided today for the first time, but he still hasn`t done steps, which is what worries me, because, although we have a stairlift, there are odd steps in 3 places upstairs, so when he gets off the stairlift will he be able to manage them? The ward sister`s answer to that was that she`d tell the physio people to concentrate on steps tomorrow. Trouble is, if I say anything he`ll think I don`t want him home. I`m just scared of what will happen if he falls, I won`t be able to get him up, I can`t even get up if I fall myself. Plus we have our disabled daughter living with us as well.
Sorry for the rant, just venting!
