there seem to be quite a few casualties strewn about, what with all this unaccustomed exuberant frivolity! Cliff appears to be positively comatose and people keep tripping over him...

ended until some of the senior ones branched out and formed a ring to do the Okey, Cokey. You put your left foot in, your right foot in, your left foot in, and shake...

some folk couldn't resist rounding up all those gathered to dance and shimmy and perform the sort of abandoned conga that has never ever...

..and roll. Cliff, his Shadows, Joe Brown and his Bruvvers plus an assortment of fairies and elves were singing with gay abandon; when suddenly Jack jumped up and shouted.....

and Gransnet HQ gathered up their glad rags and hailed a cab to take them where the action was beginning to rock...

every Gransnet husband and wife who realised what they had been missing (whilst busy wrapping pressies, sleeping in the armchair or fiddling around in the garden shed)...
