Happy St Andrews day, a little late, but I've been travelling North to Scotland. M6 was glorious, beautiful sunshine throughout Lancashire and Cumberland. When we arrived it was 11 degrees, thanks to the gulf street. X

Agreed, Agus. I certainly didn't mean this thread to be a cause for political dispute - just felt a bit left out, considering that other patron saints were acknowledged.

G23 I'll bet that was a fabulous concert. I first saw Phil Cunningham & Aly Bain almost forty years ago in Glasgow, they were terrific then and still are.

However - correction, papaoscar. The Union flag doesn't represent all constituent parts of the UK, as no doubt our Welsh members would confirm.

I completely understand why you started this thread anno and agree with your reasons. I always join in with best wishes for St George/St David/St Patrick day threads and was disappointed we didn't have one for Scotland.
