I'm in two minds about this.
I saw an interview, I think it was on Sky News or BBC, can't remember which. They were interviewing John Hilary, Executive Director for War on Want, he was scathing against the band aid record and Geldoff. He made some valid points but I thought he would have been all for it.
I think I find the likes Geldoff and Bono et al the problem, I find them patronising egotists who it's said are tax avoiders ( don't know the truth). They preach and give the impression they are saints but they can really irritate me.
The other side of me thinks, Oh that's a good thing surely nobody could be upset by getting money for a good cause, well done all of you involved.
I think I will be gracious and say it is a positive, good way of fund raising.
