Well, in just over an hour I officially turn 50!

I had a great day yesterday, my lovely brother (older, lol) took me out for lunch and then bought me a wonderful gift.

I was staying up to actually celebrate the time I was born, 5am, but I am really tired now so might not make that.

Besides, my DS wants to go out later too so have to get some kip.

I'm looking forward to another great day.

I hope your days are brilliant too, take care all. X

Hi Ladies, thank you for your wonderful messages.

I have had another great day, if somewhat quieter than yesterday as I have been tired today. I have received some lovely gifts and cards though and my 17 year old actually made me a cup of tea! (I know now what that bunting was for, lol).

ninathenanna I do hope your DGS goes from strength to strength. It really is amazing what the medical teams can do. My sister was born with heart problems too when I was 15 years old and had emergency surgery at a week old so I know a little about the stress waiting to hear if all is ok. She is fine now though, a healthy 35 year old. smile

grannyactivist thank you for your comment. I don't think any of us get away with a life these days without struggle and having to fight our way through but you are right, it has been a lot of years of hard work in one way or another. Hopefully now things can ease a little, although the hot sweats have started now sad, lol.

Love to you all and it's so great how we support each other. Happy times. flowers

numberplease No need to be sorry, it's lovely to hear from you.

I do tend to carry my birthday on for a few days anyway. Being disabled I can't do everything at once and so have to spread things out a bit.

Hope you are well and your day is happy. smile X
