Sorry merlot I went off the red after around 15 years when that was my glass of choice, now seem to be in the "ABC" camp!

Agus I`m very partial to a nice Chablis but have to rely on Tesco for the occasional offer they don`t reduce the price often enough!!!

merlot going back to the Lidl Sauvignon, I agree that their French one isn't up to much, but the NZ is completely different.

ga got it in one! Although I would never buy it or ask for it on the rare occasions we go to the pub, if someone offered me a glass in their home I wouldn't turn it down, that would be rude!

I've given up on the half price offers after hearing that they were probably only worth that price anyway ( would that make a quarter of the original price a bargain). I've yet to buy a dud at M&S tho'

We have a huge Tesco,locally and I find it frustrating having to go up and down so many long aisles searching for products that are continually being moved.

Ah, forgot to mention the Pinot Grigio in Lidl. I'll second that Phoenix

I usually drink a Merlot from Waitrose which is normally about £7 50ish, so I have to wait for an offer.
It's very fruity and quite delicious I think, but I only drink a couple of small glasses a week, so I won't just drink anything.

Just noticed in Asda Nobilis S Blanc for £5..can't vouch for it's taste, though, maybe others would know it.

I never took to red wine at all regardless of trying some that others rave about.

My preference is Banana Milk Shake. £1.20 per litre in Tesco.

Ooh! I love banana milk shakes - I mix my own using Nesquik as I find the ready-made ones too sweet.

GNetters, GNetters lets get back to the serious business of wines. Tonight because of dinner am on the white a very nice Pinot Grigio. You see it doesn`t have to be red wine. I do love Chablis hurry up Tesco`s and put it on offer

We used to go to Asda but I always came home with headache. I don't know why. Now we have a Tesco near us so that's where we go.

Too hot for red wine tonight. Lovely long, cool G&T and then I might find my way to the fridge in which lurks a bottle of Pinot Grigio.

I am having a "Bud", long & cool also shifts the windy pops !
