The Wonderful Man is away on business so I was surprised to hear a late night knock at the door earlier - and quite delighted to find my son and his wife had decided to take a detour on their way home from the cinema to just call in and say hello. After a quick cup of tea and a brief chat they left again, but I'm so pleased they popped in. smile
What simple things give you pleasure?

The peace of settling into our new life (after DH`s stroke 6 months ago) realising what is important in life the past 6 months have been a very trying time. Watching the birdlife outside our window and enjoying visits from family and friends and not feeling I am completely on my own
