DBH went out shopping today. I was just now passing the front door when I saw him approaching carrying a large box, so I opened the door, grabbed the box from him, putting it on the floor and turned back to hug him saying 'Hello Dear!'

Whereupon a very nice man who looked NOTHING like DBH said, 'That was the nicest, friendliest greeting I have had all day!'

Was tempted to add kisses under my signature, but desisted. He wasn't bad, but not that good.

Wonder if I should hug a passing judge? Apart from Gary (the gardner) whose wife Kate (the cleaner ) would object if I started doing that, they're the only males I see.

Even judges need hugs. You could instigate a 'Hug a Judge' day.

I get lots of hugs (and give them), usually for no reason at all just because we want to.
