What a feisty wee girl your Gracie is. I'm glad to hear that her team won.

Thanks for lovely comments everyone. Have spoke to DDiL tonight and Gracie is doing very well ( apparently she might have some nasty bruising tomorrow) but the main thing is that she lead "her team" to victory and got lots of house points for being so brave. smile

Good for her!

I have just returned from DGS's first sports day - he survived without injury and seemed very happy.

Oh gillybob, love it......can think of several so called sportsmen who could learn a lot from her!

Good for her! Brave, thoughtful and conscientious - no wonder she is Team Captain!

Just spoke to my DiL who is at the school sports day today watching the three children. My middle grandaughter Gracie is very competitive and fell during one of the races. When she stood up, her middle finger was sticking upright. She ended up being taken to A&E where it turned out she had a dislocated finger. The doctor popped the finger back in, she let out one scream and then turned to mum and said "hurry up mum, I must get back, I am team captain and I can't let my team down, anyway I'm starving and we were first dinners today". The doctor was amazed. She's 6 ! smile
