Please if anybody finds any they are MINE!
Did I or did I not read a short thread about somebody's parents' bungalow boundaries and involving a chief constable and a fence? Have I imagined the whole thing? Do I need to take more tonic with it in future?
I really couldn't care less if the thread has disappeared, but how can it disappear without trace in the space of less than half an hour??
Please reassure me that the plot is not altogether lost.confusedconfused

I think it was Janeainsworth who advised the OP to have the post removed as it may lead to litigation if someone recognised who tne neighbour was from the description.

tanith Sat 05-Jul-14 19:05:14

If the poster asked for it to be removed! But I saw it so you aren't going mad Soutra

We did post to say it was going to the pit of deleted threads as it contained a tad too much information about a third party so it wasn't a good idea to leave it.

We're sorry if we were too quick to delete it <slaps wrist>

Well, I'm not surprised I missed it Julie - I miss everything, always! As does glass. Could you message us personally in future so we have a chance to be shock. Thank you!

Yes I saw it. It was closed as it could have been considered libellous.

There was no good reason for putting it on GN other than the poster (never heard of before) making a public point about a dispute. I do wonder if the poster has put this on other sites as well.

No GNrs would have been able to offer advice other than see a solicitor.

I told the poster he needed to take house deeds to a solicitor for advice.

Jane A then pointed out the possibility of libel which might also implicate GN.

I Googled it - he's put it on multiple forums!

Nelliemoser Sun 06-Jul-14 11:54:55

Whenim. I am not surprised. He could live to regret that action! He sounds a bit of a pl**ker.

Please could someone explain why I have just up the stepladder in the spare room, instead of the ironing board? blush confused

In mitigation, I would like to point out that they were next to each other.

Nonu Sun 06-Jul-14 15:19:58

LE HEAT??

grin

Nelliemoser Sun 06-Jul-14 18:31:18

Phoenix are you about to engage in "extreme ironing" with the ironing board balanced on the top of your ladder?

Anne58 Sun 06-Jul-14 18:33:50

Oh Nellie now _there's a thought! Might be a tad too extreme though, with my varifocals! grin
